Time for Life
HELPING FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH CANCER

Mission Statement: Time for Life provides families of children with cancer with opportunities and support to enjoy the life they fight so hard for.
|

The Connecticut Junior Women (CJW) selects a state project that is supported by all of the
it's member clubs throughout Connecticut through fundraising and volunteerism.
For a six year affiliation beginning in 2002, CJW has parterned with Time for Life.
CJW is a statewide organization of over 70 clubs with membership of more than 2,000 women and young
women (age 11-18)
We are a non-profit, non-partisan and non-political group formed for the promotion of civic involvement
through volunteer service in cultural, educational and social areas.

Time for Life is a non profit organization for children with cancer and their families. Their goal is to provide services from diagnosis through treatment and onto long-term survival. Time for Life sponsors a summer program bring children with cancer and their families to the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard where they can stay and play for five days.
Time for Life has a Resource Center providing families with access to the information and support they need to endure a cancer diagnosis and survive the ordeal with their family intact. Seminars are available on topics such as health care laws, nutrition, parenting a sick child and many other issues focused the needs of families of children with cancer.

Contributions are always welcome and will support the year-round activities and costs for Time for Life. All of Time for Life's programs are offered at no cost to the families they support.
